Same Day Crowns

At Sulens Dental, we can restore the appearance of your smile…in just one day!

Traditionally, placing dental crowns would require two visits. A messy impression would need to be made of the tooth and a waiting period of three to four weeks would be scheduled while a crown was created at an off-site lab.
With advanced E4D technology, Sulens Dental Studio can create and place your crowns in a single appointment!

When Are Crowns Recommended

Dental crowns are often used to treat a wide variety of circumstances, including teeth that:

  • Require support from a root canal
  • Are fractured, broken, or severely chipped
  • Show signs of severe decay
  • Have been significantly stained or discolored
  • Undergo significant loss of tooth structure due to large filling

In these cases, dental crowns are beautifully functional. Covering the entire surface of the affected tooth, these appliances provide fit precisely in place to provide a strong barrier of protection.

Benefits of E4D Same-Day Dental Crowns

An alternative to common CEREC machines, E4D technology is the latest advancement in same day crown technology. At Sulens Dental Studio, this means that crowns:

  • Can be placed in a single appointment
  • Are custom-fit to provide patients with comfortable wear
  • Color-match the surrounding teeth for a natural smile
  • Are made of extremely durable materials
  • Provide long-lasting results

With E4D technology, patients no longer need to fumble with the inconvenience of temporary crowns. We’ll have your new fitting ready within one hour!

A Typical One-Day Crown Appointment

During a standard crown appointment, Dr. Brauning or Dr. Sulens will capture a digital impression of a patient’s tooth or teeth. This impression will be used to design a custom-fitting, color-matched crown.
Using CAD/CAM (Computer Aided Design/Computer Aided Manufacturing) technology, a milling machine in our office will create the final crown. Once inspected and approved, Dr. Sulens or Dr. Brauning will gently place the newly created crown.
